The treatment takes about 30 minutes. Fillers are injected into specific areas of the face using a fine needle. This is usually done without anaesthetic, but in some cases a local anaesthetic may be applied for extra comfort.
After treatment, you can immediately resume your normal activities. Slight redness or swelling may occur, but this usually disappears quickly.

Treatments with injectables usually do not have many side effects. Generally, you are just presentable again the day after treatment. Immediately after treatment, there may be redness or swelling but this is usually short-lived (minutes-hours). Sometimes blue spots may appear. These too are temporary and clear up within a few days. As no open wounds are created by the punctures, make-up can be used normally 6 hours after treatment. This means that any redness can be camouflaged. It does not affect the result and there is no risk of infection.
Within a few days, the skin usually looks normal again, depending on the extent of the treatment and the technique and filler used. The doctor will tell you in advance what reaction to expect. Also, the result is much more beautiful after a few days than immediately after treatment. If you have any questions about a reaction afterwards, you can always contact the clinic.
