A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure that we use to make your abdomen tighter and flatter again. During the procedure, we remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tighten the underlying muscles. This procedure is ideal for anyone who dreams of a slimmer, tighter abdominal profile.
Do you want a tummy that is back in great shape? A tummy tuck can give you that desired look!
A tummy tuck is perfect for both men and women who suffer from excess skin or fat in the abdominal area, especially if diet and exercise are not producing the desired results. This procedure is often a godsend for women who can no longer achieve a tight tummy after multiple pregnancies or significant weight loss. It can also help if you are dealing with a sagging abdominal wall due to ageing.
Want a tighter tummy and a new confidence? A tummy tuck could be the solution you are looking for!
The procedure begins with a comprehensive consultation in which you discuss your wishes and expectations with the surgeon. The surgeon will review your medical history and perform a physical examination to properly assess everything.
Before the operation, you will be given clear instructions on how to prepare. This may include stopping smoking and avoiding certain medicines.
The operation itself usually takes place under general anaesthesia and lasts a few hours. The surgeon makes a horizontal incision just above the pubic bone, removes excess skin and fat and tightens the abdomen.
After removing the excess tissue, your abdominal muscles are tightened, the skin is pulled into place and the incisions are sutured.
After surgery, you will receive instructions on how to care for the wound, what activities to avoid and when to come back for follow-up appointments.
Want a tighter stomach and a fresher feeling? With a tummy tuck, together we will take the steps towards your ideal result!
• Improved abdominal contour
• Increased self-confidence and satisfaction with body

As with any surgical procedure, there are risks associated with a tummy tuck:
The cost of an abdominoplasty fluctuates according to the complexity of the procedure. At I Care Clinic, a small abdominoplasty starts from €3 500 incl. VAT, a small abdominoplasty + diastasis from €4 800 incl. VAT and a large abdominoplasty (with relocated navel) without an overnight stay from €5 500 incl. VAT.
Recovery from a tummy tuck can take several weeks to months. The first week is often the most uncomfortable, during which rest and limited movement are essential. During this period, patients may experience swelling, bruising and discomfort. Wearing a special compression garment is recommended to reduce swelling and support the abdomen during the healing process.
