Couperose

Rosacea is the expansion of very fine superficial blood vessels in the skin that are visibly present. Couperose is partly genetic or occurs spontaneously with age and can manifest itself by a constant redness of the skin, sometimes with purple discolouration.

Couperose is further aggravated by certain factors such as alcohol, extreme temperature fluctuations, spicy food, intense emotions...etc. Couperose is usually located on the face. Specific areas are cheeks, nose and chin, spots that are very difficult to camouflage.

Some preventive measures intrude to avoid early rosacea. Above all, avoid excessive exposure to the sun and UV radiation (protective clothing, hat, sunscreen...). Live and eat healthily and try to control stress.
Is rosacea marring your face? Book an appointment at I Care Clinic now and during an initial consultation we will determine the right individual treatment to get rid of that annoying redness. Laser treatments prove time and again their usefulness in fighting rosacea.
